One of the four branches of Chinese medicine, Tuina therapy Dr. Bhatt uses to stimulate pressure points. Tuina is a combination of acupressure, conventional massage, and chiropractic techniques.

Standard veterinary procedures for companion pets include dental surgery, spay and neuter surgery, vaccinations, examinations, diagnostics, laboratory testing, conjunctive cancer treatment, personalized allergy testing, mineral and toxic metal testing, anal gland expression, and end of life care.

Dr. Bhatt and the team at Arya Animal Acupuncture are dedicated to fostering the practice of One Health to protect and safeguard the health synergy of animals, people and the environment.

Large and giant breed dogs, such as Great Danes, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Dobermans, and the like age faster than smaller breeds, and may require specialized care sooner than most breeds. Senior dogs need a little extra TLC as they age. Dogs age much faster than humans and so we recommend senior dog bloodwork every 6 months as well as at least twice yearly visits to make sure that your distinguished friend is living a comfortable and happy life in his or her silver muzzle years. Frenchies, as they are lovingly called, are an amazing breed but are also prone to medical issues such as dental disease, dog allergies, arthritis, breathing issues and knee problems. Dog behavior and mental health is extremely important for our canine friends! Many dogs suffer from anxiety but the good news is that we are here to help: acupuncture for dogs can help balance internal factors contributing to anxiety such as aches and pains and we can use other modalities to manage dog behavior and mental health. They help us but sometimes they need our help too!

Dr. Bhatt loves kitties and she would love to meet more of them! Did you know that only a small percentage of cats receive regular veterinary care? Often times this is because they don’t tolerate travel to the vet office as well as their canine counterparts but they do still need the same high-quality care!

Canine athletes come in all shapes and sizes. Much like human athletes, they are prone to injury while they perform - we can help with that! Regular services such as acupuncture, laser, and massage therapy can help keep our canine athletes performing their best at all times!
